About Group Volunteering

Group volunteering is versatile, and could include working alongside friends, neighbours, or colleagues. It’s a great way to team build in a new environment while making a positive impact in people’s lives.

Adopt-A-Route for Meals on Wheels

This is a recurring volunteer opportunity where your group delivers a meals route weekly. One or two people deliver each time, so a group of four or more people could be a one time a month commitment for each group member. You select a specific day of the week and we schedule your group on that day each week. You meet at one of our conveniently located meal delivery depots between 10:30am and 11:30am to pick up the meals, and typically deliver to 7 – 12 client homes. The route typically takes between 60 and 90 minutes. At the end of the meal route, your group returns their meals bags to the depot and are done for the week.
