Service Overview

Connect with other caregivers like you, as our staff help you reflect on and navigate the experience of caregiving. Learn about effective methods for communicating, self-care, and stress management, as well as supports in the community to ease the burden of caregiving.

Service Details

Call our office to speak to our Client and Caregiver Engagement Specialist, or to register for an upcoming group.

  • A series of four weekly, two-hour sessions are offered at a variety of times and at accessible community locations for your convenience .
  • One-on-one support is available over the phone, in-home, or via video chat for those unable to attend group sessions.
  • Services are offered in Cambridge, Kitchener, North Dumfries, and Waterloo.
  • This is a free service.

  • When can I begin to get respite services through Community Support Connections?

Unfortunately, we do not provide respite services for Caregivers. Out program is a support network that includes education sessions regarding caregiving and group support sessions. If you require respite, we can get you connected with the appropriate agencies.
