Often times when considering a donation, you the donor allow Community Support Connections to designate the money where it’s needed most. Thank you for that trust. Rest assured we have needs that require more attention throughout the year than others.
There are however, times that you may want to designate the funds to an area that is closer to your heart than others. Community Support Connections has created Funds where you, the donor can make an impact that means more to you. Please see below and consider these funds when making a donation to Community Support Connections.
Preparing 90,000 meals a year is a big job. Like any kitchen, our tools and appliances sometimes break down. Community Support Connections needs reliable funds to be able to purchase new equipment and repair existing equipment when it is needed most.
Community Support Connections has a fleet of eleven vehicles. Throughout the year we use these vehicles to transport clients to medical appointments, deliver food to clients doors and other necessary needs to ensure seniors in our community are living healthy at home. While some of our newer vehicles are hybrids the entire fleet has repair and equipment costs associated.
Each year Community Support Connections absorbs as much inflation costs as possible for our clients. Some years that is not possible as it can become too much considering the quantity of clients we are providing care for. Your gift will ensure we can absorb larger fluctuations in costs before your relatives and neighbours do. Please consider assisting with those costs that can have difficulty with those cost increases.
Community Support Connections provides peace of mind to clients throughout the Region. With in-home service visits, exercise classes, friendly visiting, reassurance calls, and other social supports Community Support Connections offers the mental stimulation needed to thrive as our neighbours and family age in their homes.
Community Support Connections provides nutrition support to seniors that need it most. From our warm meal program to grocery shopping and delivery, help seniors throughout the region receive the nutrition support they need to stay in the home they love.
