These seniors are members of our community with very limited access to social support, often have limited ability to leave their homes and get out in the community, and would not receive a holiday gift of any kind without intervention. Social connection, along with the recognition and celebration of holidays is a vital part of all our well-being. These seniors are no different.
Receiving a holiday stocking completely changes the tone of the holiday season for these seniors. These stockings uplift our most vulnerable community members. It is a tangible token that reminds them that they are cared for.
